Digital Praise's "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" Game
Takes Flight, Teaching Kids To "Bee" Obedient
Second PC Game Title Based On Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends™ Book/Video Series
Features Fun Interactive Activities Plus Valuable Christian Teaching
FREMONT, CA (November 22, 2005) - Digital Praise Inc, a leader in Christian themed, family-friendly entertainment software, today increased the "buzz" around its collection of award-winning PC games for children via the release of "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules," the second title in its series based on Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends™. Featuring engaging interactive games from the imaginative world of Hermie, Wormie and all their garden friends, "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" will give children ages three to six untold hours of positive, value-building fun.
Suitable for both Macintosh and Windows computers, "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" delivers the same wholesome Christian messages for which Max Lucado's immensely popular series are known. By following the entertaining storyline and enjoying the various interactive activities, children learn not only the benefits of following rules and respecting the wishes of others, but also the value of prayer and praise.
"Our software team has outdone itself in combining Christian values and early-childhood learning within an incredibly fun, imaginative setting," said Tom Bean, president and CEO of Digital Praise Inc. "What's more, our unique auto-leveling technology ensures that children can always have fun as they enjoy the various interactive games. As they grow and develop, "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" will grow right along with them."
Rules Are Important
Through its many activities, "BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" shows children what can happen when God's rules aren't followed. As the story opens, Hermie's seed order from the "Sears & Roebugs" catalog has been scattered all over the garden because safety rules weren't followed by the delivery bugs. Hermie and Wormie must begin searching for the seeds; as they meet up with various friends, they discover first-hand what happens when other rules aren't obeyed.
Fortunately Hermie can tell them about Buzby, their young and ultra-cool bee pal who used to break ALL the rules - until he found out it was even "cooler" to be obedient. They also pitch in to help fix the results of the various mis-bee-haviors, thereby creating fun and inventive interactive challenges for the young boys and girls who play the game. Activities include:
Each time Hermie and Wormie successfully complete a challenge, they are given one of their lost seeds to plant in the Art Garden where they'll grow into paintbrush and picture plants. Then, players can enjoy the results of their garden efforts - a series of drawings that can be colored onscreen in 3-D. Along the way, they'll practice early learning skills including counting, addition, sorting, pattern and letter recognition.
Video Best-Seller
"Buzby, The Misbehaving Bee has been a top-selling video because children can relate to him," said Bill Reeves, Director of Entertainment Products for Tommy Nelson, the kids division of Thomas Nelson Inc. that creates and distributes Hermie & Friends videos and related products. "Digital Praise has captured all the charm and appeal of Buzby, Hermie, Wormie and the entire garden gang in this exciting new PC game."
"BUZBY: Breakin' All The Rules" is priced at $29.95, with a special 90-day introductory price of just $24.95. The game is now available at all leading Christian retailers nationwide as well as Amazon.com and the Digital Praise web site, www.digitalpraise.com.
