Multiple Formats, Uses
Dance Praise Party offers three of the four classic Dance Praise play modes: Dance Mode, the basic game which scores dancers' performance; ShadowDance Mode, which allows one dancer to choreograph steps that others attempt to duplicate; and Exercise Mode, the cardiovascular workout format perfect for that rainy day workout. The system supports individual as well as two-, three-, four- or five- player teams; teams can combine scores for various forms of competition. Scores and place for all dancers are displayed on-screen in a color-coded system, so each can track how well he or she is doing.
As an exercise platform, Dance Praise Party gives dancers an exceptional workout! Studies have found that most people can burn nearly as many calories in a 30-minute Dance Praise workout as the amount of points they weigh. In Exercise Mode, dancers or their leaders can set songs to play continuously for any length of time, thereby delivering the exact cardiovascular challenge desired.
Dance Praise Party also provides the perfect opportunity for fundraisers or dance tournaments. Youth groups and schools can encourage sponsorships for individuals or teams, with prizes awarded to winning participants.
